Network Concept
The purpose of the network is to strengthen the dialog and contact between the business communities and universities. To do so the University Technology Network offers one entrance into the portfolio of technologies from the Universities of Aalborg, Aarhus and Southern Denmark. The network is open for all companies and investors with an interest in university technologies and research collaborations.

The University Technology Network send out technology presentations six times per year. Hereby, members gain access to the extensive pipeline of the newest technologies from all Universities in Western Denmark. The technology presentations are categorized in five primary commercial groups, allowing network members to receive technology presentations only within selected fields of interest:
- Biotechnology -health, medico-technical
- Biotechnology -foodstuff and agro industry
- IT, telecommunication, electronic measuring instruments
- Production technology, building materials, consumer goods
- Energy, environment, transport

The technology presentations provide a brief introduction to the invention, the potential application areas, the commercial aspects, and present the research team behind the invention.This is a unique opportunity to get first hand knowledge of new inventions which could fit into the scope of your company.
FREE Membership
The membership of University Technology Network is free. Instead, network members commit to briefly evaluate on the technologies received by a simple email response. Any constructive commercial or technical feedback is of great value and will help develop the right commercial approach.
It is our experience that this dialogue is of great value for both parties. Hereby, members have the opportunity to give feedback on technologies at an early stage, allowing commercial, development and IPR influence on up coming investment opportunities.
NO Confidentiality
In order to keep the dialogue simple membership participation does not require non-disclosure agreements. However, each member is entitled to obtain full confidentiality of membership and any inquiries made to the universities.
Additional Benefits
- Network members are free to participate in any upcoming events, announced on the website and in the University Technology Network Newsletter.
- Members are promoted on the network website with company name, logo, hyperlink and company description.
